THE ROCK'S WWE SMACKDOWN RETURN VIEWED 103M TIMES

 The shock of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's return to the WWE on this past week's edition of SmackDown Live has made it the most-watched social media video of the year.

The video has been viewed more than 103 million times, according to WWE's announcement on Monday.

During a segment with Pat McAfee and Austin Theory at the beginning of the program, Johnson made an appearance. He smacked Theory with his infamous People's Elbow, whipping up the Denver crowd. His first WWE appearance in four years took place in the first event after the company's merger with UFC under Endeavor officially took place last week.

After his appearance on Friday, fans undoubtedly want The Great One to compete in one final match, perhaps at WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia the following year.
